Join us for an important in-person conversation with Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Mike Caruso, who will share critical insights on the growing threats of scams, property fraud, and deceptive schemes affecting residents and property owners across our region.

From property deed fraud and impersonation scams to fake government notices and payment requests, these schemes are becoming increasingly sophisticated—and REALTORS® are often the first line of defense in helping clients recognize and avoid them. Florida continues to see a rise in fraud reports, including scams involving fake deeds, jury duty notices, and traffic ticket payment requests impersonating government agencies.

During this interactive session, Clerk Caruso will provide practical guidance on:
• The most common scams currently targeting Palm Beach County residents
• Property deed and title fraud—how criminals attempt to steal ownership of homes
• Warning signs REALTORS® and clients should watch for
• Tools available through the Clerk’s Office to help protect property owners
• How REALTORS® can help educate buyers, sellers, and investors to avoid fraud

This is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the Clerk’s Office about real-world cases, prevention strategies, and resources designed to protect homeowners and real estate transactions throughout Palm Beach County.
