Join the Palm Beach County Regional Board in partnership with the Palm Beach County Planning and Zoning Division for an exclusive, no-cost learning opportunity tailored for REALTORS. 


This informative session will break down the key codes, permitting processes, and contractor regulations that impact residential and commercial real estate in Palm Beach County. Gain insider knowledge to better guide your buyers and sellers—and avoid costly surprises at the closing table.

Together with County Officials, we will:

  • Understand the basics of Palm Beach County’s building codes and zoning regulations.
  • Learn how to navigate contractor requirements and permitting timelines.
  • Discuss how code violations and unpermitted work can affect real estate transactions.
  • Explain the importance of hiring a licensed and insured contractor, and how the county can help.
  • Visualize how the code compliance process works.
  • Review of the county's Building Division services including permitting, inspections (remote video) and more! 

To CANCEL your class/event registration, please email class/event name, date, and location to education@rworld.com or call 561-353-9190.

Class/Event cancellations for “Specialty” courses (Designations/Certifications/license renewal) received within 3 business days of the class start day will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee, which would result in a partial refund of the paid registration fee. If the aforementioned registration was not paid, an invoice for the $20 cancellation fee will be applied.

Members who “No Show” a class/event without notice of cancellation prior to class/event will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.

By registering for this class/event you hereby consent to the photographing of yourself and the recording of your voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes. You understand that the term “photograph” as used herein encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage.
