In Partnership with the Lord's Place, PBC Community Outreach is collecting the most basic of necessities!
Join Rworld in assembling WELCOME KITS for the homeless in our area on Thursday, October 26th (1-3PM) in the Palm Beach Gardens classroom, and then join us on November 9th at The Lord's Place as we distribute these care packages and spend some quality time making holiday cards and crafts!
The Lord's Place is "Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness" and wants everyone to feel welcome, most especially when they are down on their luck and in need of life's most 'basic necessities'! So when guests arrive at their Community Engagement Center in West Palm Beach they are provided with what they need, from toothbrushes and toothpaste, to baby/cleansing wipes and deodorant, plus SO MUCH MORE.
Your collection and donation of these small/travel sized toiletries, clothing, snacks, and hygiene products (including feminine and child care items) will go a long way towards helping the less fortunate in our neighborhoods regain their self-confidence and make for a better quality of life.
Please bring your donations to one of the 3 PBC Rworld office locations (collection boxes located in the lobby/classroom areas), now through October 26th! To CANCEL your class/event registration, please email class/event name, date, and location to education@rworld.com or call 561-353-9190.
Class/Event cancellations for “Specialty” courses (Designations/Certifications/license renewal) received within 3 business days of the class start day will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee, which would result in a partial refund of the paid registration fee. If the aforementioned registration was not paid, an invoice for the $20 cancellation fee will be applied.
Members who “No Show” a class/event without notice of cancellation prior to class/event will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.
By registering for this class/event you hereby consent to the photographing of yourself and the recording of your voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes. You understand that the term “photograph” as used herein encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage.
