As a Realtor®, it is important to recognize and appreciate your obligations to your customers, the public and fellow Realtors®. Through enforcement of the Code of Ethics, Realtors® continuously strive to remain informed on issues affecting real estate and as knowledgeable professionals are willing to share the fruit of their experience and study with others. Maintaining your Code of Ethics requirement helps to eliminate practices which may damage the public, in turn discredit or bring dishonor to the real estate profession.

Course Takeaways:
• Identify how the Code of Ethics should be used in daily business practices
• Describe the concepts established in Articles 1, 2, 3, 11, and 16 of the Code of Ethics and identify possible violations of the Code of Ethics specifically related to those Articles
• Pinpoint discriminatory speech and conduct that could violate Article 10 of the Code of Ethics.
• Understand the professional standards process for enforcing the Code of Ethics, including the duty to arbitrate
• Explain how the Pathways to Professionalism tool provides guidelines for respecting property, the public, and peers

Class cancellations for “Specialty” courses (Designations/Certifications/license renewal) received within 3 business days of the class start day will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee, which would result in a partial refund of the paid registration fee. If the aforementioned registration was not paid, an invoice for the $20 cancellation fee will be applied.

Members who “No Show” a class without notice of cancellation prior to class will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.

By registering for this class/event you hereby consent to the photographing of yourself and the recording of your voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes.
