The purpose of this module is to make you aware of parts of the tax code that affect real estate, discover your unique attributes and create a personal promotion plan, identify your target audience and develop a marketing plan that focuses on them. In addition, you will learn about absorption rate, how to determine a buyer's market from a seller's market and define what motivates consumers to sell and buy.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:
  • Seek and provide the information necessary to best serve the customer.
  • Apply the elements of a marketing plan to sell a property.
  • Prepare a pre-listing and listing presentation.
  • Illustrate income tax ramifications of financing the purchase of a residential property.
  • Illustrate how marginal tax brackets are used.

Class cancellations for “Specialty” courses (Designations/Certifications/license renewal) received within 3 business days of the class start day will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee, which would result in a partial refund of the paid registration fee. If the aforementioned registration was not paid, an invoice for the $20 cancellation fee will be applied.

Members who “No Show” a class without notice of cancellation prior to class will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.
