buy or sell second homes in your area. Increasing your knowledge of the
recreation and lifestyle market, gaining insights into the motivations
and expectations of second-home buyers, and increasing your awareness of
the financing and tax considerations they face when purchasing or
selling a vacation or investment property will help you better serve
these clients and build your real estate business.
COURSE GOAL AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The
goal of the Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist Certification
Course is to help real estate practitioners adapt and apply their core
real estate skills, develop business and branding strategies, understand
the issues and trends that impact the second-home market, and help
buyers choose properties that meet their vacation or investment
second-home goals. Participants will gain knowledge of the essentials of
buying and selling second-home properties for recreation and investment
and build a second-home business.

Class cancellations for “Specialty” courses (Designations/Certifications/license renewal) received within 3 business days of the class start day will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee, which would result in a partial refund of the paid registration fee. If the aforementioned registration was not paid, an invoice for the $20 cancellation fee will be applied.
Members who “No Show” a class without notice of cancellation prior to class will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.
