WEBINAR: Safety Roundtable | Being Aware of Your Surroundings
Location:
Rworld Campus via MyRealtorDash
-
We want you to stay safe on the job year-round. Join our panel in a discussion on safety practices and suggestions in a more open, less formal format. In this session we will put our heads together about the importance of situational awareness.

What is Situational Awareness (SA)?
Situational awareness is knowing where you are and what is going on around you, allowing individuals and organizations to be more alert and informed and to make better decisions. For organizations, this includes awareness about personnel location and assigned duties, the environment, and any potential risks.

A major aspect of having good situational awareness is being able to know the differences between safety and danger. It's a balancing act - you have to be mindful enough that you can keep an eye out for hazards, but not so anxious or worried about everything that your guard drops.

In this Safety Roundtable, we will discuss:
  • How SA effects REALTORS in their day-to-day
  • How SA can be integrated into both personal and professional settings
Meet our expert panel:
  • Moderator: Scott Gooding, Safety Subcommittee Vice Chair
  • Detective Greg Kirk, St Lucie County Sheriff's Office
  • Deputy Rob Ferrelli, Broward County Sheriff's  Office
  • Ed Leviano, Safety Subcommittee Member
